This concept note outlines how Hanoi can expand shared electric moped services to improve last mile access to metro and BRT stations. Building on a successful pilot, it identifies operational barriers, policy gaps and infrastructure constraints, and proposes a structured plan with fourteen docking stations and one hundred and forty vehicles, supported by digital systems, stakeholder coordination and alignment with national climate commitments.

This scale-up concept note focuses on enhancing the use of e-kick-scooters in conjunction with public transport in Hamburg, particularly in the city’s outer districts. The project aims to improve first- and last-mile connectivity, reduce private car use, and address potential challenges posed by the increasing use of shared e-kick-scooters. By creating dedicated parking zones and integrating e-scooters into the public transport app (hvv switch), the project promotes sustainable and intermodal urban mobility.
