This concept note outlines how Dar es Salaam can expand its electric mobility transition by scaling up electric three wheelers, pedal assist bicycles and future electric bus services. It builds on extensive technical assessments, policy work and capacity building undertaken through SOLUTIONSplus and proposes integrated pathways for national and municipal institutions to strengthen regulation, expand pilots, improve technical skills and advance sustainable public transport.
